Staffing a full-time safety professional is too expensive for most businesses.
That’s where Fleet comes in. Our plans and implementations are just as effective as they would be coming from a full-time staffer. You get the benefits of a full-time safety professional with Fleet but without the costs.
It’s not just overhead expenses a company needs to consider when it comes to staffing a safety professional.
Recruiting, training, hiring, along with salary and benefits, must be considered too. If you’re a small business, have multiple projects, or multiple locations, our services might be a practical solution to your problems. It can be very costly to have a full time Safety Director. Fleet is a practical low-cost alternative that is a perfect fit for any size company.

Staffing costs don’t even address the expense of an absent safety program and unaddressed risks.
Accidents result in liability losses, injuries, productivity losses, and possible health and safety violations. We help protect your company from burdensome legal fees and increased insurance costs which can result in the biggest losses your company face.
What Safety Training and Consulting Programs does Fleet offer?
A few of our safety training programs include Defensive Driver Skill, One-on-One Training, Safety Management, Driver Attitude, and Fleet Manager Safety Training.

Clearinghouse Implementation
What is the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and what information will it contain?
Mandatory use of the Clearinghouse goes into effect on January 6, 2020. Employers must report certain drug and alcohol program violations and can conduct electronic queries in the Clearinghouse. Manual inquiries with previous employers are still required to cover the preceding three years. The Clearinghouse is a secure online database that will give employers, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), State Driver Licensing Agencies (SDLAs), and State law enforcement personnel real-time information about commercial driver’s license (CDL) and commercial learner’s permit (CLP) holders’ drug and alcohol program violations. The Clearinghouse will contain records of violations of drug and alcohol prohibitions in 49 CFR Part 382, Subpart B, including positive drug or alcohol test results and test refusals. When a driver completes the return-to-duty (RTD) process and follow-up testing plan, this information will also be recorded in the Clearinghouse.
Who is Authorized to use the Clearinghouse? To access the Clearinghouse once it is operational, a user will be required to request access from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) by registering for the Clearinghouse.
Authorized users include:
CDL drivers
Employers – this includes motor carriers and other employers of drivers operating commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) that require a commercial driver’s license (CDL) or commercial learner’s permit (CLP)
Consortia/third-party administrators (C/TPAs)
Medical review officers (MROs)
Substance abuse professionals (SAPs)
Enforcement personnel
